Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur slammed Maha government and said that the conduct of the Maharashtra government is 'unfortunate', adding that Shiv Sena-controlled Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)'s demolition of the Bandra bungalow of Kangana was an act of vendetta. "The conduct of the Maharashtra government is unfortunate, I condemn it. The daughter of Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut raised her voice and expressed her opinion. They (Maharashtra government) have done this out of vendetta. This is unfortunate," Jai Ram Thakur said. Relevantly on Wednesday Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut tweeted videos of her razed office, saying 'Death of Democracy'. The actor landed in Mumbai from her home state Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, amid protests by Shiv Sena workers at the airport over her remarks on Mumbai police. Sena workers with black flags were seen outside the airport, shouting slogans against her. It may be mentioned that a hashtag announcing the death of democracy started to trend no sooner than Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) began demolishing the Bandra office of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
