'History Or Geography': Indian Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi Issues Stern Warning To Pakistan

Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi issued a strong warning to Pakistan, stating that if it continued to harbour terrorists and operate against India, it would have to decide “whether they want to be part of geography or history.” Speaking during an interactive session hosted by Uniform Unveiled at the Manekshaw Centre, General Dwivedi was responding to a question on how the Indian Army would react if circumstances similar to those leading to Operation Sindoor emerged again. The remarks came during the event titled ‘Sena Samwad’, held days after the country and the armed forces marked the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor. Under the operation, Indian forces carried out precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The nearly 88-hour military conflict later ended after both sides reached an understanding on May 10.
