Umesh Pal’s wife Jaya Pal on April 13 appealed to the higher officials to take strict action against gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed.“I appeal to the higher officials to take strict action against him...We hope that the court will give strict punishment to him,” said Jaya Pal, the wife of slain Umesh Pal. Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf will be produced before the Prayagraj Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate on April 13.
