India and Vietnam sign Memorandums of Understanding in Hanoi

Sushma Swaraj, the Union External Affairs Minister met with her Vietnamese counterpart Pham Binh Minh in Hanoi on Tuesday as the two were co-chairs on the 16th Joint Commission meeting where they signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). This is seen as a move to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two nations. Swaraj is on a four-day visit to Vietnam and Cambodia. The two nations are strategic partners and ASEAN members.
