General Anil Chauhan, CDS, addressed future defence preparedness at the 100th Military Nursing Service Raising Day, stressing India’s need to be ready against nuclear and biological threats. Post-COVID bio-threats and potential radiological hazards were highlighted, alongside the critical role of deterrence. He lauded the Military Nursing Service’s century-long commitment to the nation, emphasizing both me dical expertise and the mental well-being of nurses. Gen Chauhan also stressed inter-service jointness to strengthen India’s defensive capabilities and uphold national security against evolving threats.
