General Upendra Dwivedi has changed India’s strategic tone with his powerful declaration that Operation Sindoor was only the “trailer” and India is ready for a much stronger, sustained, multi-domain military action if Pakistan invites conflict again. Addressing the Chanakya Defence Dialogue, he stressed that India no longer fears blackmail, disruption, or cross-border terror. With terrorist recruitment at historic lows and the successful elimination of Pakistan-backed operatives, the Army Chief highlighted a secure, stable post-Article 370 Kashmir. He warned that any nation encouraging terrorism will face decisive Indian retaliation. India now signals a firm doctrine: peace is the first choice, but force will be the final answer to terror.
