Indian Navy Invites Domestic Industry to Build 80-mm Aero Rockets for MiG-29K Fleet
The Indian Navy has invited Indian defence companies to develop and manufacture indigenous 80-mm aero rockets for its MiG-29K fighter fleet. The move seeks to eliminate reliance on imported ammunition and strengthen India's defence self-reliance efforts. With all components required to be produced domestically, the project marks another major step in the Navy's push towards 100 per cent indigenisation by 2047.
