India’s defence exports have reached a record ₹38,424 crore in FY 2025–26, registering a sharp over 62 per cent growth compared to the previous fiscal, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced. Describing it as a “big jump,” Singh said the surge reflects increasing global trust in India’s indigenous defence capabilities and advanced manufacturing strength. The milestone highlights India’s rising presence in the global defence market and its steady progress towards becoming a major exporter. With consistent growth over recent years, the country is positioning itself as a reliable partner in international defence supply chains.
