Kapil Sibal alleges BJP aims for political gain through Women's Reservation

Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Kapil Sibal claimed on September 19 that the Bharatiya Janata Party was seeking a political advantage in 2024 through the Women’s Reservation Bill. He argued that the government wanted to present this as a historic achievement but should have acted in 2014. Kapil Sibal questioned the bill's significance, raising concerns about the pending census and delimitation processes. He suggested that the government was merely promising future benefits to women without concrete action.
