Mamata Banerjee To Lead June 2 Protest In Kolkata Over Post-Poll Violence Allegations | Watch

Mamata Banerjee is set to lead a one-day sit-in protest at Kolkata’s Rani Rashmoni Avenue on June 2 over alleged post-poll violence. TMC has applied for police permission, though approval is still pending. Senior party leaders will attend before Mamata joins around noon. Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee will visit Nanoor in Birbhum to meet alleged victims of post-poll violence and offer support. The twin programmes are being viewed as an important political move for the Trinamool Congress. Watch
