McDonald's layoffs 2023: US Fast food giant temporarily shuts US offices, prepares to fire employees
Fast food giant McDonald's has temporarily closed its offices in the US this week, and is reportedly preparing to inform its corporate employees about layoffs - Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported and several other agencies cited. In an internal email written to the employees and some international staff members, McDonald's asked team members to work from home between Monday and Wednesday so that staffing decisions could be delivered virtually. There is, however, an ambiguity over the number of employees that could be laid off.
