#MeToo: Women participate in 'Walk for respect' rally against workplace sexual harassment

As part of the #MeToo campaign, Sahyog Trust and Human Rights and Law Defenders organised a rally 'Walk for respect' to create awareness among all women, girls, handicapped about sexual harassment at their workplace on October 26. The rally was taken out to create awareness about #MeToo campaign that’s going on since many days but only high profile cases are coming out. But in reality, girls and women everywhere have to go through this injustice and suffer sexual harassment. The ‘walk for respect’ rally in Nagpur is a testimony of growing dissent as college going girls, housewives, working women and even elderly women participated in the event to register their protest against harassment in the hands of their gender counterpart.
