NCP leader Jitendra Awhad was arrested in Thane for assaulting a businessman and stalling movie show. In a series of tweets Awhad said- that he received a call from the senior inspector who called him at the police station to collect the notice against him, to which Awhad requested that he will come to the police station after his Mumbai travel. He further alleged that the police engaged him at the station and the cops seemed helpless and restless to arrest me after orders from higher authorities.
