Siding with the ongoing investigation against Anti-Sikh riots accused Jagdish Tytler, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee Junior Vice President Atma Singh Lubana on April 11 in Delhi recalled his 2017 meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and said that the PM assured him of justice over the matter. Further attacking Congress over its handling of the case, Lubana accused the party of shielding Tytler. Congress leader Jagdish Tytler was named in the anti-Sikh riots that took place in the National Capital in 1984, post the assassination of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Jagdish Tytler has been called to give his voice sample to match the sting given by JAGO President Manjit Singh GK. The CBI has in past, handed a clean chit to Tytler Trice, however, the case was asked to reopen. The victims of the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots also expressed their satisfaction over the sace being investigated again.
