A team of Police from Naini Central Jail of Prayagraj took gangster-turned-politician Atique Ahmed for court proceedings on March 28. Earlier, a heavy police force was deployed outside the jail to avoid any mishap before Atique Ahmed was brought to Naini Central Jail on March 27. Atique Ahmed was shifted to a high-security barrack in Prayagraj prison under tight police security. The verdict in the kidnapping case would be pronounced by the Prayagraj court on March 28.
