Amid tensions on the Line of Actual Control, foreign ministers of India and China held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers' meeting in Delhi. In the meeting, external affairs minister S Jaishankar highlighted the abnormal ties between the two nations with his Chinese counterpart Qin Gang. The thrust of the meeting was on the bilateral relationship and the challenges in them, especially that of peace and tranquillity in border areas. Prior to his meeting with the Chinese foreign minister, Jaishankar met his US counterpart Antony Blinken. They held discussions on bilateral relations, the Russia-Ukraine conflict and other global issues.
