A video of BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia seen in an argument with the guards of a housing society in Noida has been circulating on the social media. The argument started over a late night game of badminton in the housing society wherein the security officers asked the residents to stop the game after 10pm. The residents told the security officers that the rules should be displayed publicly and that they would leave shortly. This video purports to show parts of the argument between the security guards and the residents. The matter was subsequently resolved amicably by the RWA, which also said that the security officers used "intemperate" language. Here's the full text of the RWA statement: Last night residents were playing badminton with their family members at the new badminton court. The Security Officer went to the badminton court and asked the resident to wrap up the game as it was beyond 10 pm. The residents told the Security officer that rules should be displayed regarding the timings and they will wrap up the game in 15 minutes. In the meantime the security officer used intemperate language and stepped onto the badminton court. Aura BOM condemns such behaviour of the Security Guard and wishes to reiterate that the Security Guards while enforcing all rules should exercise restraint and be polite with residents at all times. There can be no justification being aggressive, they should raise issues with the representatives of AURA BOM. The matter was sorted out after the intervention of the AURA BOM amicably. We are committed to ensure that such an incident doesn't happen again. AURA is also in the process of displaying the playing hours at the badminton court.
