BJP leader Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, while speaking to the media on August 20 slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his allegation that Chinese troops are hijacking the locals’ lands in Ladakh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claims about safety are false. She said that Gandhi is “China’s advocate”.She said, “The thief is talking about theft. The entire country knows about his (Rahul Gandhi) relationship with China. He is China’s advocate. Therefore, his statement is not ethical. He is trying to build his political stand but his politics is over.”This comes after, Rahul Gandhi, while speaking to reporters on August 19 said, “The locals here are concerned about China taking our land. They have said that the Chinese troops took away their grazing land. However, the PM says not an inch of land was taken away. This is not true; you can ask anyone here.”
