States diverting dam water to corporate, alleges Medha Patkar

Environmental activist Medha Patkar alleged that states Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat are diverting dam water to corporate at the cost of people’s lives. The Central government has recently approved a long-stalled proposal to raise the height of the Narmada dam so that more water could be made available for drinking, irrigation and power generation.
