Suvendu Adhikari Chooses Bhabanipur Over Nandigram, Sparks Fresh Political Battle In Bengal

West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari has decided to retain the Bhabanipur Assembly seat and vacate Nandigram after winning from both constituencies in the Bengal Assembly elections. The move is being seen as politically significant as Bhabanipur has long been considered the stronghold of Mamata Banerjee. Suvendu’s decision is expected to trigger a high-profile bypoll in Nandigram and intensify the BJP vs TMC political battle in West Bengal.
