On October 2nd, a significant gathering of women hailing from Manangudi panchayat in Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram came together for a vital coastal conservation effort. Led by Manangudi Panchayat Council President Parameshwari Padmanabhan, these dedicated women engaged in the planting of palm seeds to combat sea erosion. In a remarkable display of community commitment, the women collectively sowed approximately 300,000 palm tree seeds along the coastal areas.
