Tamil Nadu Poll Tension: Vijay’s TVK Office Set On Fire, Security Concerns Rise
A Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) campaign office near Srirangam in Tamil Nadu’s Trichy district was allegedly torched by miscreants in the early hours of Friday. The thatched structure, used for election activities, was completely destroyed in the suspected arson attack. A promotional banner of TVK candidate S. Ramesh was also vandalised. The incident comes just days before the declaration of Assembly election results, raising concerns over political tensions in the state. Ramesh has demanded swift action and additional security, alleging possible threats during vote counting. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to identify those responsible.
