The Kerala Story: Complaint filed against NCP leader Jitendra Awhad

A complaint is being filed against NCP leader Jitendra Awhad after his comments on 'The Kerala Story', producer. The Kerala Story has been facing a lot of flak ever since its inception. While states like West Bengal and Tamil Nadu have banned the film owing to its controversial content, NCP leader Jitendra Awhad too has now slammed the makers of the film demanding the producer be meted out strong punishment for making the film. NCP Leader Jitendra Awhad reacts to The Kerala Story. The leader was quoted as saying, ‘Under the name of 'The Kerala Story', a state and its women were defamed. The official figure of three was projected as 32,000. The person who produced this fictional movie should be hanged in public.’
