India pressed for the withdrawal of Chinese troops from Indian territory in the Pangong Tso area of eastern Ladakh during the second round of top-level military talks on Monday. India also expressed outrage at the “premeditated and pre-planned” brutal violence unleashed against Indian soldiers on June 15. India reiterated its demand for restoration of the status quo.

Ahead of Holi, Delhi Police carried out a two-day crackdown under “Operation Aaghat 4.0” on March 1 and 2, detaining nearly 4,000 people across the city.
