UP: Administration removes hoardings of political parties ahead of Urban Local Body Polls in Kanpur

ollowing the announcement of the urban local body polls in the state the Model Code of Conduct came into immediate effect and several cities in Uttar Pradesh were quick in implementing it as they removed the hoardings and posters of political parties. Kanpur Municipal Corporation was seen removing hoardings installed by political parties soon after the announcement of urban local body pollThe urban local body polls in the State will be held in two phases. The first phase will be held on May 4 and the second phase on May 11. The counting of votes for both phases will be held simultaneously on May 13.
