UP: Atiq Ahmed, brother Ashraf reach Dhoomanganj Police Station in Prayagraj

Mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were brought to Dhoomanganj Police Station in Prayagraj on April 14. Atiq Ahmad has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case. Atiq Ahmad’s son Asad and his close aide Ghulam were earlier gunned down by STF in Jhansi on April 13. He was one of the accused in the killing of Umesh Pal, a key witness to the murder of BSP leader Raju Pal.
