Dhol, cheers and flowers: How Delhi welcomed Gautam Gambhir

Delhi turned out in full force to celebrate their hometown hero Gautam Gambhir after India’s triumphant ICC Men's T20 World Cup campaign. From beating dhols and loud cheers to showers of flowers, fans gave Gambhir a rousing welcome as he returned to the capital after guiding India national cricket team to global glory. The scenes captured the emotion, pride and celebration as Delhi honoured one of its own.
