‘Devious Strategy Of BJP’: TMC Hits Out Over Repolling In 2 Seats In West Bengal
Shashi Panja of the Trinamool Congress alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party followed a deliberate strategy during polling in West Bengal to provoke incidents and create disturbances. She claimed such actions were aimed at triggering repolling in several booths across constituencies. Panja said the party chose not to respond to what she called provocation during the voting process. She further accused the BJP of attempting to influence the election narrative by pushing for widespread repolling. According to her, the alleged strategy was also meant to defame Bengal and raise doubts over the conduct of the electoral process in the state.
