Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress during a rally in Kolkata, claiming that the “days of TMC’s gundagardi are coming to an end.” He said the countdown for the departure of the TMC government in West Bengal has already begun and asserted that once the BJP forms the government in the state, it will move forward with the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” while ensuring accountability.Modi also alleged that the state administration attempted to obstruct the rally by closing bridges, stopping vehicles, creating traffic jams, removing BJP flags, and tearing posters. Addressing the large crowd, he said these efforts failed to stop the “sea of people” attending the gathering, using it as an example to criticize the state government’s functioning.
