Speaking in Tiruchirappalli, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said leaders of the NDA have agreed to work together “as a family” in Tamil Nadu and that discussions on seat sharing are ongoing. He added that AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami will act as the leader of the alliance in the state. Goyal said the final decision on seat distribution will be announced after further consultations with Palaniswami. The statement comes as NDA parties intensify preparations and negotiations ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
