The Supreme Court has issued key directions in the ongoing West Bengal Special Intensive Revision (SIR) voter-exclusion case, strengthening the grievance-redressal framework for affected individuals.A bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant has allowed petitioners and excluded voters to approach the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court either on the administrative side or for judicial intervention, depending on the nature of their grievance.
