Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the BJP will not project a Chief Ministerial face in West Bengal ahead of elections against incumbent CM Mamata Banerjee. Speaking at the party’s ‘Sankalpa Patra’ manifesto launch, he clarified that the decision on the Chief Minister will be taken after the results. Shah emphasized that BJP is not a dynasty-based party and suggested that any eligible Bengali leader could be chosen. He assured voters that the eventual Chief Minister would be capable, qualified, and committed to good governance in the state.
