The latest communication raised the ransom request to ₹400 crore, emphasizing Ambani's non-response to prior threats. The ominous email, delivered to Ambani's official address, warned of potential harm, asserting that even the best security could be breached. In response, Mumbai police bolstered security at Ambani's South Mumbai residence, Antilia. The initial email purported to be from Shadab Khan, demanding ₹100 crore, and after receiving no reply, the sender doubled the demand in a subsequent message.
