Delhi Minister Atishi has detailed the extensive preparations for the upcoming G20 summit, emphasizing the city's readiness to host the event. She highlighted the reconstruction of major roads and the construction of a tunnel complex around the ITPO, funded by the central government and completed by the PWD, providing secure access for G20 delegates. Beautification efforts include the installation of 30 fountains, over 80-90 statues, and planting more than 1.5 lakh plants. Atishi acknowledged minor inconveniences due to restrictions but urged the public to cooperate, recognizing the significant opportunity the G20 summit represents for the country.
