Maharashtra: Two cops asked to trim grass for arriving 30 minutes late to holiday court
It was an unusual punishment for two policemen of Maharashtra when the court ordered them to trim grass for being late. A constable and a head constable from Manvat police station in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district were recently tasked with trimming grass as a disciplinary penalty. They had arrived 30 minutes late to a holiday court. According to senior officers, the two policemen were part of a night patrol that detained two men for roaming around suspiciously in Manvat.
