After a video of mayor Hemalata Diwakar’s brother-in-law firing shots on the street went viral, the Agra police swiftly responded. Mahesh Pal Singh, the man seen openly firing a pistol, was apprehended along with the weapon. The Sikandra Police Station has initiated legal proceedings under Section 27/30 of the Arms Act. The incident unfolded soon after Hemlata assumed the position of mayor, revealing the misbehavior of her relative. The authorities are taking strict action against this act of public disturbance and endangerment.
