'Inject Money Now Or Disaster Looms': U.S. Navy's Big Iran Funding Appeal For Naval Ops

The U.S. Navy has sounded the alarm that the ongoing war with Iran is draining America’s military coffers and could force major cutbacks as early as July unless Congress approves emergency funding. Chief of Naval Operations Daryl Caudle told lawmakers the 2026 budget did not account for the scale of Operation Epic Fury, leaving the service burning through fuel, maintenance, munitions, and operational funds at an unprecedented pace.
