Kolkata Knight Riders' swashbuckling batter Rinku Singh smashed five consecutive sixes to pull off a thrilling three-wicket win over Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Needing 29 runs off the last over, Rinku whacked left-arm pacer Yash Dayal for five maximums on the trot to register a last-ball sensational victory.


For Kolkata Knight Riders' Rinku Singh, the road to success has been a long and arduous one but never did he flinch or give up, and added a glorious chapter to the IPL story by doing the unthinkable here on Sunday.

The 25-year-old from Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh blasted 48 off 21 balls to see Kolkata Knight Riders home with a three-wicket win against defending champions Gujarat Titans on Sunday. The win has propelled KKR to second in the table with four points after three matches.


Rinku's 48 not out from 21 balls included six sixes and one four, with KKR nailing down a 200 plus chase in dying moments in the game.


Not even the world's best batters would have backed themselves to hit five consecutive sixes with their team requiring 28 from the last five balls, but KKR's left-handed Rinku did exactly that, producing a terrific knock that will be remembered and talked about for years.
