RCB’s lower middle-order that banks heavily on the shoulders of Dinesh Karthik has failed to fire in the ongoing IPL season. Karthik has had one poor outing with the bat after another.

On Sunday, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell smashed another big partnership and Harshal Patel held his nerve as Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals in a big-scoring IPL thriller on Sunday.

However, Karthik again failed to impress at the death, making just 16 off 13 and Bangalore ended with a total of 189-9 that gave table-topping Rajasthan more than a glimmer of hope of victory.

Furious with Karthik’s batting this season, fans have been mocking him on social media via memes.
