Watch: Pakistani woman grooving to old Hindi song has internet drooling
A video that has taken desi social media by storm has a Pakistani woman shaking her legs to an old Hindi song from 1954 film Nagin.
A Pakistani Instagram influencer by the name of Ayesha can be seen sensually grooving to the remixed version of Lata Mangeshkar’s ‘Mera dil ye pukaare aaja’, at what appears to be a wedding function.
Dressed in olive green kurti and leggings, the young woman aces her steps to perfection as she’s watched by the wedding guests seated in the background. Many clap and applaud as she performs, completely internalizing the song by thoroughly feeling its lyrics and beats. She doesn’t feel one bit hesitant or nervous. The performance naturally grabbed many eyeballs.
“I love myself, and do you know I really don’t give a shit. So, no bad comments,” Ayesha posted the video with this caption.
The video went viral, not only in Pakistan but also in India. It received views in millions and lakhs of likes. Desi netizens couldn’t stop going gaga over her moves and appreciated how she owned the night.
“This song has been stuck in my head now,” commented a girl who goes by the Instagram handle ‘rabailaf’.
“When ppl dance enjoying vibing with the song without any hesitation is the best feeling ever (sic),” commented another user from India.
Many Indian men even innocuously proposed to her in the comments section.
