The 13-second video of a lightning bolt that hit a car with a family of five near

, Kansas is terrifying the internet.

The incident was recorded by Carl Hobi who was travelling behind the vehicle that got struck by lightning. It took place on June 25.

The clip shows the car driving in the heavy rain when the lightning hits it.

The SUV was carrying five passengers, including three infants, one three years old, one one-and-a-half years old and the third, eight months old, as reported by Newsweek. No one was injured but the incident but left the family horrified.

“They were in shock and the first thing they did was make sure the kids were okay and they were relieved that everyone was just fine,” Hobi told Newsweek.

He further said, “The car was dead and stuck in gear and we could not get it in to [sic] neutral to push off the road. It will most likely be considered Totaled.”
