Cast of ‘Boys Of Tommen’ announced

The final cast for ‘Boys Of Tommen’ has been officially confirmed, according to a recent report from Deadline. Newcomer Nancy Surridge has been cast for the lead role of Shannon Lynch, while Conor Sánchez, best known for ‘Mix Tape’, will be playing the male lead, Johnny Kavanagh.James O’Donoghue, best known for ‘Hardy Bucks’ and ‘Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale,’ will be playing the role of Joey Lynch, the troubled kid of the family. Sophie McGibbon from ‘Sense & Sensibility’ has secured the role to represent Aoife Molloy.

‘Boys of Tommen’ is the latest adaptation from a popular book series and will cover Chloe Walsh’s first two books, ‘Binding 13’ and ‘Keeping 13.’ The show is being made by the same studio that developed the hit series ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ starring Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno. Not only that, but the creative mind behind the upcoming YA series adaptation, Temple Hill, has also worked on the recently released, viral series, ‘Off Campus.
’ Brendan Canty will be directing the series, and is best known for his work in ‘Water On The Road’. Poppy Cogan, who is best known for ‘Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,’ is going to be adapting the book into the series.

What is the premise of ‘Boys of Tommen’

The storyline follows Shannon Lynch after she joins the private school of Tommen College in Ballylaggin, Ireland. It tells the ‘forbidden’ love story between Lynch, the gifted and shy girl at the private school, and the star rugby player, Kavanagh. While Lynch tries to hide her turbulent personal life from everyone, Johnny is hell-bent on making sure no one finds out about his career-ending injury.
