Bridgerton season 4 begins production: A festive glimpse behind the scenes

It has been officially confirmed that shooting for season four of the hit 'Bridgerton' show has already started, giving fans an early festive sneaky peek at the all-star cast's table read via photos released on Netflix. There are glimpses of chemistry between the cast members here as they prepare for an exciting drama-filled season mixed with romance and intrigue in the stills.

As this season starts anew, with Lady Whistledown's pen ready to spill new scandals, it also introduces the "diamond" of the season in Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha, famous for her role as young Kasha in HBO's 'Dune: Prophecy'. 'Bridgerton' is set to return in 2026, as the series goes back to Regency-era London and follows a new story. This season will be centered around Benedict Bridgerton, who will be played by Luke Thompson. It will trace Benedict's journey of love and self-discovery and will include his romance with Sophie Baek, an enigmatic "Lady in Silver," whom he meets at his mother's masquerade ball. The behind-the-scenes photos capture Thompson and Ha during the table read and give fans a glimpse into their undeniable off-screen camaraderie.

Familiar faces include Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton, Hannah Dodd as Francesca Bridgerton, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Danbury, and Polly Walker as Lady Portia Featherington. New members of the cast include Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, Isabella Wei as Posy Li, and Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li.

Production began in September at the new backlot of the UK's Shepperton Studios. The new season is set to bring a new light, exploring the artistic and free-spirited nature of Benedict, the second Bridgerton son, as he finds love amidst societal expectations.

Fans can expect a season filled with passion, intrigue, and stunning Regency-era aesthetics. Netflix declared, "Rejoice, for it is the season of joy and merriment!" as they shared the photos, so anticipation for 'Bridgerton' Season 4 is at an all-time high.
