'House Of The Dragon' season 2 drops two trailers with release date, viewers in a dilemma to chose between Rhaenyra’s black faction or Alicent’s green team - WATCH

The season one of 'House Of The Dragon' ended with Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) murdering Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy)'s son Lucerys (Elliot Grihault). Now the makers have dropped two trailers for season two which is set to premiere on June 16. The last shot of season 2 ended with Rhaenyra's face, which looked ready for war and looks like the war is indeed on with season 2!

'House Of The Dragon' is like the prequel to 'Game Of Thrones' as it shows events happened prior to that. One trailer illuminates the stronghold of Rhaenyra, Prince Daemon, and their assembled forces entrenched upon Dragonstone's rugged shores. Meanwhile, the other trailer delves into the heart of King's Landing, where Alicent, alongside her father Otto and offspring King Aegon and Prince Aemond, marshals her allies and ambitions.

This second season of 'House Of Dragon' is based on George R.R. Martin's novel Fire & Blood.

HBO teased the release of the trailer on X Wednesday with a post that said, "Tomorrow. All Must Choose," and hashtags for Team Green and Team Black.



The second season of the show once again stars Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Emma D'Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen and Eve Best as Rhaenys Targaryen, along with more returning and new cast members.
