Priyanka Chopra Jonas to star in 'The Bluff' alongside Karl Urban

In a recent announcement, it has been revealed that Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to headline 'The Bluff', a new movie from AGBO Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. The film, directed by Frank E. Flowers, will also potentially feature Karl Urban from Prime Video's 'The Boys'.


According to Deadline, 'The Bluff' is set in the 19th century Caribbean and follows the story of a former female pirate, played by Chopra Jonas, who finds herself confronting the mysteries of her past while protecting her family.

The project is a significant collaboration among Amazon MGM Studios, AGBO, and Chopra Jonas, following the success of their previous venture, the global franchise 'Citadel'. The debut season of 'Citadel', starring Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden, garnered immense viewership on Prime Video, solidifying the partnership's success.



Frank E. Flowers, who recently achieved acclaim for his work on 'Bob Marley: One Love', will helm 'The Bluff'. The screenplay, co-written by Flowers and Joe Ballarini, promises an intriguing narrative set against the backdrop of the Caribbean.

Production for 'The Bluff' is scheduled to commence in spring in Australia, with the movie slated for release on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.


In addition to Chopra Jonas and Urban, the film boasts a stellar production team, including Anthony and Joe Russo from AGBO Studios, and producers from Cinestar Pictures.
