Hayao Miyazaki’s winning film at the Oscars called ‘The Boy and the Heron’ will start streaming on Netflix but will not be available in Japan or the US. This is Miyazaki’s first feature film after almost a decade.
‘The Boy and the Heron’, an Oscar-winning movie by Hayao Miyazaki, is the next one to be streamed on Netflix. The movie by Studio Ghibli will be available on the OTT platform from October 7 for 190 countries except for Japan and the USA.
The film has recently been awarded the Oscar for the best animated picture and the Golden Globe Award for the best animated feature film, which is the first picture of this director in 10 years.
To be more precise, The Boy and Heron, details can be referred to as the great work of fantasy film in the light of the war in Japan. In the case of the story ‘The Boy and the Heron’, the audience can rely on the works of Miyazaki, who came back from the Pin Hide to deliver works on World War II.
It is a drama about Mahito, a boy only twelve years old who is learning to live without his mother, sharing a house with his father and stepmother. He is guided by a gray heron; one must assume a magical one to the process of grieving.
