It is a sad day for ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ fans, as their beloved Captain a.k.a Andre Braugher has left the mortal world. According to the reports, after a brief illness, Andre breathed his last on Monday at the age of 61. The report of his demise has shattered hearts and brought profound grief to many.

Expressing his love towards the late star, Andre’s co-star from 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Terry Crews has penned a heart-wrenching post. "Can’t believe you’re gone so soon. I’m honored to have known you, laughed with you, worked with you, and shared 8 glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent. This hurts. You left us too soon," wrote Terry as he paid tribute to Braugher.

Joe Lo Truglio, who essayed the role of Detective Charles Boyle on the show also poured his heart out. He highlighted Andre’s commitment to family by mentioning that the Captain used to fly every weekend from the sets to be with his wife and kids. Not just this, Truglio familiarised the fans with a lesser-known fact about Braugher. Not many knew that he showcased his talent for singing during lunch breaks.
