The film's global earnings surpassed Rs 300 crore throughout the country. The storyline revolves around four young college girls who fall victim to brainwashing and coercion, leading them to join ISIS. The film's portrayal of approximately 32,000 women from Kerala being converted to Islam and taken to Syria and Iraq sparked controversy and political discussions.
