'Laapataa Ladies': Nitanshi and Chhaya shed tears in real during a pivotal scene

Nitanshi Goel, known for her role as Phool in ‘Laapataa Ladies,’ divulged details about a touching moment shared with her co-star Chhaya Kadam, who portrayed Manju Mai in the film.

Reflecting on their bond, Nitanshi revealed that they had formed a special connection on set, similar to a grandmother-granddaughter relationship, with Nitanshi affectionately referring to Chhaya as Manju Mai.

According toreport in Mid Day, during the filming of an emotional scene where their characters bid farewell, both Nitanshi and Chhaya found themselves shedding real tears.

Nitanshi explained that as her character prepared to leave for Surajmukhi, the emotional intensity of the moment was so profound that the use of glycerine to induce tears became unnecessary. As they embraced on screen, genuine emotions surfaced, leading to tears of both sorrow and joy.

Recalling her journey to securing the role in ‘Laapataa Ladies,’ Nitanshi shared a delightful anecdote about her audition experience. From the exhilaration of receiving the role to the emotional moment of joining the project, Nitanshi expressed her immense happiness, recounting that she cried tears of joy upon learning the news.
