In this day and age, where AI is taking over every field, several professionals have been trying to use the technology in their favour. In the West, there was a huge uprising against the use of AI in filmmaking; in Bollywood, as well, there have been concerns regarding the same. And in the middle of it, a new AI-generated series, ‘Mahabharat - Ek Dharamyudh,’ is trending on social media. Based on one of India’s greatest historical events, the series created a buzz right from the word go. However, as of now, it is trending for sparking a meme fest, after the netizens noticed modern elements in the historical drama.

In the episode, where Prince Devvrat's birth and the tale of King Shantanu and Goddess Ganga are featured, the audience was looking forward to seeing the AI version of the ancient Hastinapur. However, amid the airbrushed images and visuals, some eagle-eyed netizens noticed some new-age elements like the modern-looking bedside table with drawers in one of the scenes, which led to massive reactions.


One user joked, "Missing a wireless charger." Another mentioned, "In one scene, there is a picture (on the bed wall) of a person wearing a suit." “You will find a computer table as well,” wrote a netizen.

"My mum was watching it the day before, and I was beside her. She was saying, 'See, they look so perfect.' Then I explained to her that it was AI, and she got upset because she's the last generation to be innocent." wrote another internet user.
